Tea and Botanicals Trading

From the Chengdu Gardens to a Moss Green Trade

Welcome to the trade floor of KaiWeiTai. From our home in the Qingyang District of Chengdu, we move highland mountain tea, wild-harvest botanicals and hand-finished tableware across the region and beyond.

Our warehouse at No. 486 Guanghua East Third Road stands as a quiet stone basin where seasoned buyers find flavor, provenance and a steady hand in every shipment.

We serve wholesale kitchens, tea lounges and private-label partners who demand honest grading and dependable volume. Our company, Chengdu Kaiweitai Trading Co., Ltd., was founded on a simple belief that a cup of tea should carry the truth of its mountain and the care of its maker, and that a wholesale partner should be able to build a menu or a retail line without worrying about the source behind it.

Each season, our buyers walk the terraces at first light, cup the fresh spring buds in the garden and choose only the lots we would happily serve to our own guests. That discipline shapes everything from the leaf we grade to the ceramics we pack beside it, and it is the reason a growing circle of cafés and retail partners trusts us with their shelves.

The Lantern Path

Five stepping stones set the course of a well-travelled tea and botanical trade

Sichuan Tea Sourcing

We begin where the best tea begins, on the mist-wrapped slopes of Sichuan. Our buyers walk the terraces of Mengding, Emei and the high valleys to cup fresh spring buds and folded oolong leaves. We negotiate directly with family gardens, so the leaf you receive is the leaf the mountains gave, unbroken by middlemen and carrying its own place of origin on its label.

Our sourcing calendar follows the seasons closely. Spring brings the prized early buds of green and yellow tea, while summer and autumn deliver the deeper oxidation of black and oolong teas. We track each harvest, coordinate picking windows with our garden partners and reserve the best lots before the market moves, so our wholesale buyers can plan their menus with confidence rather than gamble on availability.

Botanical and Herbal Ingredients

Beyond the tea bush, the same high gardens yield a rich selection of wild herb, aromatic flower and medicinal root. We grade and pack jasmine, chrysanthemum, pu-erh blossoms, osmanthus and a rotating line of botanicals used by tea blenders, herbalists and wellness brands. Every lot is sorted at origin, sun-dried with care and kept in moisture-tight bulk storage until it ships.

These botanicals do more than flavour a cup. They anchor a whole category of health and wellness product that our partners build into blends, infusions and retail wellness lines. Because we work directly with the growers, we can trace each dried flower to the valley that raised it, giving your label a genuine story of place and a consistent quality across every packed kilogram.

Tea Ware and Ceramics

No tea trade is complete without the vessels that carry it. We supply yixing clay pots, celadon cups, kiln-fired gaiwans and hand-thrown stoneware from established craftsmen in the region. Each piece is inspected for glaze quality and firing strength before it leaves our bench, so your retail shelf or teahouse table holds only ceramics fit for daily brewing.

Matching the right ware to the right tea changes the whole experience of a tasting, and our team is glad to advise on pairings, gift boxes and matching sets. Whether you are setting up a brewing corner for a new shop or resupplying a busy lounge, we keep a dependable stock angle across popular shapes and sizes.

Wholesale and Private Label

Our kitchens of trade are built for partners. We assemble wholesale lots of tea and botanicals to your exact blend, strength and packing preference, then print your own private-label housing, labels and seals. Whether you need a single seasonal order or a standing monthly programme, our warehouse team keeps your SKU pipeline clear and your margins clean.

A private label lets a tea lounge or retailer own the shelf rather than rent it. Our packaging team coordinates small and medium runs, tests your label on the right bag or tin and handles the artwork details so that the finished box feels as considered as the leaf inside it. You keep the brand, and we keep the supply steady.

Quality Grading and Warehousing

Every incoming lot passes through our grading bench, where trained hands sort leaf size, aroma and moisture against our published standards. Graded goods move into temperature-stable, pest-controlled warehouses in Chengdu, and our batch tracing ties each delivery to its garden, its season and its inspector. A steady supply starts with a steady shelf, and ours is kept in order daily.

This grading discipline also protects your reputation as much as ours. When a customer opens a bag in your shop, the leaf they see is the leaf we approved, held to the same standard every time. Our batch records mean we can answer any question about origin, harvest date and inspection history in a matter of minutes.

We believe a cup of tea should tell an honest story, from the mist on a mountain terrace to the rim of the bowl in your hand. That belief guides every leaf we grade, every garden we visit and every shipment we sign.

It is why we walk the fields rather than order from a desk, why we cup each season new crop before it moves, and why we would rather decline a lot than pass on a mediocre one. We treat every carton we pack as a promise to the person who opens it, and we keep that promise season after season.
